Our Club

The Rotary Club of Makati Premier District was formed based on its members' shared value of joyfully giving back. We are part of the Rotary International District 3830 of the Philippines. Our club was chartered on April 20, 2017. Presently, we have 67 members between RC Makati Premier District and Rotary Satellite Club of Makati Premier District - Next Gen, plus two honorary members. Other branches of our Rotary family are the Rotaract Club, Interact Club and Rotary Community Corps of Makati Premier District. Jose Mari L. Yupangco is President for RY 2023-24. Atty. Eric Quiason is President-Elect.

Many of our members are seasoned corporate professionals, entrepreneurs, civic, and thought leaders. Together as one, we combine our expertise to serve in more holistic ways.

We focus on three significant advocacies. Mindful of the Philippines' education crisis, our first focus is on early learning and literacy; Knowledge Channel Foundation is our strategic partner. Our second focus is public health. We collaborate with the Philippine Cancer Society for breast and cervical cancer screening using our two mobile clinics. ANCOP Foundation operates our tuberculosis and cardiac diseases testing mobile clinic. Finally, through our "Gabay at Lingkod" community development program, we provide pragmatic solutions to community problems guided by Rotary's seven areas of focus. Today, we collaborate with over a dozen civic and charitable organizations to help underserved communities. "Service above self" inspires us every day.
