The Problem
Cardiac diseases are the leading cause of death, making up 18.5% of non-communicable disease-related deaths among Filipinos. Meanwhile, tuberculosis (TB) is a major threat, with the Philippines having Asia's highest TB rate, affecting 554 per 100,000 Filipinos.
The Solution
Enabled by a global grant, we partnered with ANCOP Foundation to provide the Wellness and Outpatient Services on Wheels (WOW) Clinic +, targeting underserved communities facing limited healthcare access, aiming to provide top-quality healthcare services.
We focus on affordable health assessments, screenings, and treatments for cardiac diseases and TB. Our efforts also include community awareness campaigns and healthcare worker training. Plus ancillary services like medical consultation, pharmacy, dental extraction, and minor surgeries.
